BLADE
To assure you get the best knives available, all Rada blades are crafted from surgical-quality, T420 high-carbon stainless steel for a lifetime of durability then hollow ground for incredible sharpness. Designed with frequent use in mind, non-serrated, hollow-ground blades can be easily resharpened to achieve a like-new blade again and again. For easy at-home sharpening of non-serrated blades, check out Rada’s Quick Edge Knife Sharpener. All pieces in this set except the Vegetable Peeler and Tomato Slicer can be sharpened.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
1. Regular Paring Knife The Regular Paring Knife is Rada’s all-time best-selling knife. Its 3¼" blade is the ideal size for tons of cutting tasks. Nearly any meal prep will benefit from this knife.
2. Vegetable Peeler The Vegetable Peeler is one of Rada’s most popular products. The 1¾" blade swivels and works well for right- or left-handed people.
3. Tomato Slicer Rada's Tomato Slicer boasts a dual-serrated 5" blade, allowing cooks of all skill levels to make a clean, straight cut of tomatoes every time. Great for use on citrus, peppers, and heads of lettuce too!
4. Super Parer The Super Parer, with its 4⅜" blade, is the largest paring knife Rada manufactures. Wonderful when cutting lots of larger fruits and vegetables and even works remarkably well when breaking down a whole chicken.
5. 6" Bread Knife Nothing slices all types of bread better than our 6" Bread Knife—no smashing or crumbling! Use it on bagels and rolls and even fibrous vegetables like cabbage.
6. Cook's Knife The blade of Rada’s Cook’s Knife is just 6¼" long, allowing the gentle rocking motion needed for cutting or mincing while still being easy to control. Use it to cut anything from ice cream cake to meat.
7. Slicer The Slicer is one of three original knives produced by Rada over 60 years ago, and it’s still going strong! An impressive 7" blade will not only easily carve a holiday turkey, but also handy when cutting large fruits like melons.
Hand washing Rada’s silver-handle knives and utensils is recommended. This prevents microscopic dings on the blades’ cutting edge, and helps protect your cutlery from corrosion, ultimately extending the life of the finish. While Rada’s black-handle knives are more tolerant to the dishwasher, Rada recommends hand washing all fine cutlery.
